报告人简介：Prof. Dr. Victor Benno Meyer-Rochow，新西兰昆虫学家， 1968年获得University of Hamburg理学硕士学位，1974年获得Australian National University哲学博士学位，2005年获得Australian National University科学博士学位，长期工作于德国Jacobs University和芬兰University of Oulu，现为日本发光生物研究所（Research Institute of Luminous Organisms）所长、高级研究员，主要致力于研究极端条件下生物的进化适应。
