一、个人简介
魏琮，咸阳人，教授，博士研究生导师，教育部新世纪优秀人才，中国昆虫学会第九届理事会昆虫分类区系专业委员会委员。
教学方面，先后承担本科生课程《普通昆虫学》（国家精品课程）、《无脊椎动物学》，研究生课程《生物多样性保护与利用》、《昆虫形态学》、《昆虫形态学研究进展》等教学工作；培养的研究生多人荣获国家奖学金。
科研方面，先后主持国家自然基金、国家自然基金重大课题子课题、教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划项目、教育部直属高校基本科研业务费（优秀青年人才）科研专项、陕西省自然基金等科研课题；2005年获周尧昆虫分类学研究基金；2007年获陕西省优秀博士论文奖励；2007年入选西北农林科技大学“青年学术骨干支持计划”；2009年获“中国昆虫学会第四届青年科学技术奖”；2010年入选“教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划”。
