Job Description
Ø The Seed Production Research Associate will be a key member ensuring the highest quality products for our research programs in China.
Ø The responsibilities including:
- In charge of daily seed production activities (field operations, sowing, detasseling, harvest, data collection, equipment maintenance, etc.) and ensure all work is conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
- Manage, guide and supervise partners or famers, in order to produce high standard seeds according to company’s requirements.
- Assist in isolation searching and contract signing both on Shaanxi Yulin and Hainan.
- Assist in warehouse activities (seed conditioning, treating operations, etc.)
- Complete all paperwork in a timely manner.
Ø This position will require extended hours during peak periods, as well as long stay in Hainan.
Qualifications
Ø Bachelor or Master’s degree in Agriculture or related field is required.
Ø Attention to details and willing to work in the field.
Ø Honest, reliable and able to work efficiently under a deadline.
Ø Able to work independently and as a team with good communication skills.
Ø Be competent with computer software programs including Microsoft Office.
