On March 10th, 2025, a delegation of 9 people from the College of Plant Protection, Anhui Agricultural University (AHAU), including Secretary of the Party Committee, Liu Liu, and Dean of the College, Pan Yuemin, , visited for exchanges. Secretary of the Party Committee of our college, Huang Mingxue, presided over the symposium, which was attended by Dean of our college, Guo Jun, and Vice Deans, Ma Zhiqing, Jing Xiangfeng, Zhao Lei, Yan Jianxing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Gao Yuan, Heads of the Department of Entomology the Department of Angricultural Pharmacology, Zhang Shize and Zhu Chuanshu, and also other participants.

Dean Guo Jun provided a detailed introduction to the basic situation of our college, including its historical evolution, disciplinary orientation, student scale, science and education platforms, as well as the latest progress achieved during the 14th Five-Year Plan period in faculty development, talent cultivation, scientific and technological innovation, international exchange and cooperation, among others. Pan Yuemin, Dean of the College of Plant Protection, AHAU, also introduced the basic situation of them, shared achievements and future development plans in characteristic discipline construction, talent cultivation mode, and faculty development, and expressed earnest expectations for deepening cooperation in major achievement cultivation, joint project application, international exchanges, and other areas. Subsequently, both parties engaged in heated discussions on topics such as talent introduction, laboratory safety, team building, talent evaluation, enrollment and employment, and interdisciplinary integration, sharing good experiences and practices with each other and reaching multiple consensuses through the exchange of ideas. Both parties agreed that cooperation should be further strengthened to jointly explore new paths for the development of Plant Protection disciplines. During the visit, Liu Liu and her delegation visited the Expo Garden, Teaching Building No. 3, Southeast Kiln, the State Key Laboratory, and other platforms, gaining an in-depth understanding of our university's historical and cultural heritage and achievements in discipline development.
This exchange visiting has established a good communication platform for the Colleges of Plant Protection of the two universities, promoted experience sharing and cooperative exchanges between the two parties in multiple aspects, and injected new vitality into the coordinated development of the two universities in the field of Plant Protection disciplines in the future. Moving forward, both parties will continue to deepen cooperation and jointly promote the prosperity and development of plant protection disciplines.
