The Key Open Laboratory
for Crop Pest Integrated Management and Systematics is managed by
the China Agricultural Ministry and based in the Northwestern
Agricultural University in Yangling, Shaanxi 712100, P. R. China.
It consists of both Entomology Institute and Plant Pathology
Institute and an Entomology Museum. There are eight research
divisions, three teaching groups, and an Scientific & Technology
Service and Training Center (Market development division). The
journal Entomotaxonomia is its major publication.

The lab is headed by Prof.
Yuan Feng and the top leading scientists are Prof. Chou Io, member
of the International Academy of Sciences of San Marino, and Prof. Li
Zhenqi, member of the Academy of Engineering of China. There are 41
employed staff, of which 10 are professors (also as tutors of PhD.
students) and 21 members hold higher title of professional post. The
lab. has four main buildings with 800m2 room for research
and 16 sets of scientific instruments and equipment over 10000
Chinese Yuan.
It is authorized for Doctor
Degree and for training post doctor research staff for entomology
and plant pathology, and also for Master Degree for plant chemical
protection.
The Key Open Laboratory for
Crop Pest Integrated Management and Systematics provides research
products, information, and services on a wide variety pests of
importance to China Agriculture. This home page gives access to the

Integrated Management, Biosystematics, Plant Immunity, Plant Virus,
Pesticides etc.
